A brand new way to communicate
One quiet Saturday evening I was standing in line to get a drink in a packed nightclub. The queue was enormous. We were all standing in 2–3 lines in front of the bar trying to get the bartenders attention.
The music was so loud that you could barely think. I kept repeating the order I received from my friends so i don’t forget it.
“One Moscow mule, one beer, two gin tonics and one whiskey with coke”.
When I finally got the bartenders attention, I leaned towards him and screamed my order across:
“What?” said the bartender. “How many gins?”. I shouted: “2 gin tonics and one whi..”. Before I could finish my sentence a huge guy bumps into me making me spill my drink.
In the end I got everything I needed but it took forever to get them and I missed a couple of good songs I could have danced to.
I thought there must be a simple way one can show a message in a loud club without having to shout from the top of his lungs.
Before developing this application I tried using some of the note taking apps on my phone. Unfortunately the apps were very limited and had no option to make the text bigger. And even if they made the text bigger, the text was not properly formatted or wrapped.
The solution
I coded the app and was finally ready to launch it to Google Play and to the world.
After publishing Make it big on Google Play I received my first positive reviews. People used the software for the intended purpose. The surprising thing was that it was used by some of them for an entirely different reason.
They used this software to interact with members of the deaf community.
They didn’t need to know ASL or sign language. They wrote the text in the app and showed it to the hearing impaired on the receiving end.
The cool part is that the text will automatically resize based on the amount of text you enter. This works for both portrait and landscape mode.
Want to hear another cool feature? The texts are automatically saved and searchable. That means that you don’t have to write a often used text over and over. Enter the text you want to show and use it. It’s as simple as that.

Your imagination is the only limit when it comes to uses for this app.
The app has a decent number of themes from which you can pick. New themes are updated regularly based on holidays, seasons and other important events.
